Adding JS to the announcement banner is a bad practice, although sometimes is the only way to produce a desired result, especially if no addons cover what you need.

What are you trying to achieve exactly and what for?

i am trying to modify Epic issue link panel, As i have a request to add resolution value in issue link panel.

I am not finding any possibility to achieve this other then java Scripts in announcement banner.
