I am very new to the company I am working for, and I was asked by my boss to research migrating workloads in Jira. I have not even worked with Jira as of yet, so I cannot give any further details. Can anybody provide me with migration details?
Hello @Brad Crezee
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
Can you find out what your boss means by "migrating workloads in Jira"?
Is your boss asking about migrating all the Jira content to another server that your company manages, or migrating the content to Jira Cloud where the servers and Jira software upgrades are handled by Atlassian?
Hello Trudy, We will be doing a migration to a new server because of 2012 EOL. Any information you can share with me to that end would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the home page for documentation regarding server to server migrations.
You might also consider engaging an Atlassian Solution Partner to help you, if you are very new to Jira administration.
