Hello, I am trying to migrate the data from a team-managed project to another organisation. I have been asked to export the workflows of the project intended for migration. However, when I follow the path of Settings > Issues > Workflows, the workflow used on the team-managed project is not visible in the list of workflows.

When I open an Story or Bug in the team-managed project and click on "view workflow" via the status picklist, I can see and edit the workflow, so why isn't it visible in the Settings > Issues > Workflows list?

I am an org admin.

Hello @Shannon McIntyre

What you find under Settings > Issues > Workflows are the workflows that can be shared between projects. Only Company Managed projects can share workflows, so only the workflows for Company Managed projects will be listed.

Team Managed projects are intended to be completely independent and currently nothing can be truly shared between them. All of their customizations are accessed directly within the individual projects.

Currently there is not an options for exporting workflows from Team Managed projects.

Thank you for your reply. How can I migrate data from a team-managed project to another organisation?

Have you reviewed these documents?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/migrate-projects-from-one-jira-cloud-site-to-another-779160766.html

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/merge-multiple-instances-of-jira-cloud-779160767.html

I think your only option is to use the CSV Import option, but that is not going to support you moving all the information for the issues.
