Workflow edit permission is not working for specific role in project.

I have given a specific user the permission to update the workflow. But they are not able to update it. I have updated the permission scheme. In the Edit Workflows option I have added the specific user, who is also the project lead. But they are still not able to update it.

Hey @Md_ Abrarul Huda

If a workflow is shared with multiple projects, only the Jira admins (site-admins) can update it.

Project admins can update the workflows used for the specific projects if they have the "Edit Workflows" permission.

Thanks!

Hi @Md_ Abrarul Huda , thanks for your post.

Please can you confirm, this is for a company-managed project?

Please can you confirm, is the workflow in question only used in this project?

I would imagine you have already checked this - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/permissions-for-company-managed-projects/ .

Please can you show the permission scheme?

What does the user see? Can they access the project settings? Can they access this page?

and then they can't edit the workflow? If it is a workflow which is used in more projects, that might be the problem.

Please can you provide some more information so we can help?

Best wishes
