I've created a workflow for a project.
Here is the workflow:
Backlog, Review Scheduled, Review Created, Review Shared with Client, Review Completed
ISSUES:
The Issue screen does not reflect these statuses when selecting'Workflow' to view the dropdown.
The Issue screen has a 'Selected for Development' button. Why? This is not part of the workflow above.
My best guess is that you either did not publish the workflow, or you have not put it into a workflow scheme that is associated with your project.
The workflow has been published because this workflow is reflected on the Issue pop-up modal, not the full screen.
"The Issue screen does not reflect these statuses when selecting 'Workflow' to view the dropdown." --- It does reflect some of the above statuses, and includes other such as In Progress or Next. Any idea why?

What say Nic its that when you customize a workflow you have to validate your chabges by hit the "Publish" button, if you don't it will not reflect your change.

Make sure that your transition was changed by what you want

If I click on the 'View workflow' hyperlink, my workflow mentioned in my question displays. The problem is that the Issue screen does not reflect these statuses when selecting 'Workflow' and viewing the dropdown.
The Issue screen also has a 'Selected for Development' button. Why? This is not part of the workflow and is confusing.

@Vipin Sroya, the buttons reflect the transitions of the workflow. so you must have that transition somewhere on the workflow. If you are still having issues maybe provide screenshots and reference where you are having issues.

I have figured this out. I had to create a new workflow and added the same statuses. Apparently I was working off/editing an existing workflow and that's why the buttons (selected for development, next) were all showing on the Issue screen.

In your workflow after clicking on edit do you have the publish button ?
This workflow it is used for the issuetype task ?

Here's both problems on the Issue screen (not reflecting my workflow above, and displaying a 'Selected for Development' button:

The only way that can happen in Jira is when the workflow you are looking at is different to the one associated with this project and issue type.
Or there is something horribly wrong!
Next steps here are:

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist- @Mohamed BenzianeYes, the view workflow hyperlink shows the same workflow as in the picture I posted when editing the project workflow.
Note: Task is the only Issue Type for this Project.
How do I run the Integrity checker and re-index? What is it for?

I checked everywhere (i'm a site admin) and can't find the integrity checker.

Ah, you say "site admin", which implies Cloud rather than server. Cloud doesn't let you run that, it's an Atlassian only function.
However, it also means that this is unlikely to be the problem, as it's run regularly for you. I am pretty sure that you are looking at a different workflow to the one the issue is using.

Can't be a different workflow. I get the same workflow when clicking the (view workflow) hyperlink:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Could you hover the cursor over each of the arrows in turn. If it is the same workflow, then you find that the buttons on the issue have the same names as the arrows.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-The arrows just show Next. I think the problem may be that I'm on a simplified workflow, and not a Jira workflow? How do I switch over?
I have a board created and this is supposed to be one of the 6 projects assigned to it. But I only see 5 and not this one. How do I assign this to my board?

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-My goal is to have 1 board, with 6 projects (which each have their own workflows).

The diagram you've shown is not a simplified workflow - the arrows between status have been added. However, could you hover over each of the arrows coming from the "all" boxes as well. One of them will be called "selected for development"
