Hey everyone,
I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to change the renderer for the Description field for Jira Cloud. If not, the issue we are running into is that there is a word break at the end of each line in the description field so the word doesn't completely shift to a new line, just whatever letters don't stay on the line the word starts on. This changes as you scale the window as well, so different words and letters will break to the next line depending on the size of the window. If any one has advice on how to address this, that'd be great. Thanks everyone!
Hi @Cody Clements with the information provided, I can't replicate your issue. Could you clarify a few details? What browser are you using? Have you tried other ones? Do you have an example that causes it to happen? Do other users have the same issue? What happens if you try another computer. What is your Browser zoom level? Is it 100%? If not, could you try it at 100%.
I did a quick search through Atlassian's Jira Site and didn't find anything that matched, but you could try searching if you wanted.
Hi @Dan Breyen. I have been able to reproduce the problem. The initial issue came in from another employee who is experiencing the problem. I've tested it in both Firefox and Chrome.
After doing a bit more digging around, it seems to only be impact some tickets. The one I have attached a cropped screenshot of also has a Smart link at the bottom that wraps around to another line. Removing that link doesn't solve the problem, however. Some tickets in the same project are having this issue, others aren't.

Hmm, what's your zoom level in the browser? I tagged support, let's see what they have to say.

@Dan Breyen Oh! Right! Zoom is 100%. Reproduced at 90% and 110% as well. I'm wondering if there's a different element on the page that's causing the problem but nothing is jumping out at me. I'm trying to get another ticket that is having the problem so that I can compare them against other tickets to see if there's something that jumps out at me.
