Word Document file format import into Jira

Does anyone know how to (or any app available) that can convert a Word Doc into an Excel/CSV file ready for upload without too much formatting issues and time involved?

We currently have meeting minutes which we want to upload each minute item as individual issues into Jira. Currently it's been tedious getting it from Word Doc format into Excel/CSV format for uploading into Jira.

Would also like to know how to retain all the Word formatting (i.e. bullet points, etc) once imported into JIRA.

I am not aware of any apps that provide this functionality.  I would suggest using Confluence.  It will allow you to easily create and maintain notes and then convert items into Jira issues.

How? I have a Confluence page with check boxes and I want to make that a a Jira issue but it doesn't keep the formatting.

Thank you for the reply. We went with a checklist app
