Will comment data be imported from Github to Jira issues?

When migrating issues from Github to a Jira server instance will the Github comments be pulled to the Jira issue and displayed?

If you can export them from Github, you can import them in to Jira. The Jira CSV Import docs are decent at explaining what the structure of the CSV file needs to look like. For comments, you basically add 1 comment per column (where 1 row = 1 Github issue) and add as many additional columns as you have comments. Then you just map each column to the Comments field in the import wizard. Using a column header like "Comment 1," "Comment 2," " Comment 3" etc will make your life easier.

Yes it's a pain. No there isn't really an easier way.
