Will adding JIRA Agile change my current workflow?

Hi,

I am keen to add JIRA Agile. But I am worried it will change the workflow I already have in place. Can you confirm what will happen when I enable it?

Agile will make no changes to your data when you first enable it.  It will add some stuff it needs to hold config for what you're going to do, but your issue data will be effectively untouched.

Specifically, it won't do anything with your workflow unless you tell it to.  Some of the project templates will create new workflows when you use them, but that's creating a new project.  Your existing workflows will only be affected by Agile if an admin goes on to an Agile Board and clicks the "Simplify workflow" button
