Will Jira 7.9.X play nice with postgreSQL11?

Will either Jira software or scriptrunner from 7.9.X play well with postgreSQL11? If yes, are there downsides?

It might work.... but you run the risk of any number of problems and it's not supported by Atlassian at version 7.9. You may get no help from them if there is problems. 

If it's a test instance theres no harm in trying, if it's your live production instances I wouldn't dream of it.

Be easier to upgrade to Jira version 8.7 where postgresql 11 is supported :)
