Why task didn't counted as done when it is on stage with category "done"?

Hello!

In the workflow scheme screen I have a step.  I have assign "done" category to this step. It marked green.   

But in backlog screen if task in this step - the task doesn't count as done.  But when I move to the next stage with the same settings it starts counted as done. Why? What I am missing?

An issue is "done" when it is in the last column on the board.

Hi @vzzza  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It's probably because there is no resolution getting set when you mark it done. On the transition to Done be sure to add a post function to set the Resolution field to Done.

It might be that you have a step prior to Done called Testing that is also a "Done" type of status. Why is the Testing status a Done type and not an In Progress type?

Because of our specific software we can't test all the functions until several sprints will be completed, but we wan't to see that issue is done in the reports. I think the previous answer by Nic_Brough__Adaptavist_  is close.
