Why only 3 aditionnal data on a card ?

In the board settings -> card view, it says we can only add up to three extra data on a card, but I ask : why only 3 ? not 4 ? 5 ? 10 ?

Is there a particular reason behind this number ?

Hi @Michaël Lebeau, welcome to the Community!

I think this is primarily due to space on the cards. If there were more than 3 fields allowed on the cards, then each card would become bigger as it would need more space to display the additional fields, so I guess the limit is set to 3 just to avoid the boards becoming stretched and convoluted
