Why is initiative not being shown in the hierarchy, when viewing in "List" format?

Deleted user July 31, 2023

In the project, when viewing issues in "List" format, all the tasks and subtasks and underneath their respective epics, but initiative is shown in its own row. How do I incorporate initiatives into the hierarchy?

Hello @[deleted]

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

What type of project are you using?

You said the "List" view. Do you see navigation options across the top of your screen like Summary, Board, and List? If so, you are using a Business/Work Management project. If you see navigation options like Board, Issues, and Reports in a panel on the left then you are using a Software project.

How have you added "initiative" to your issue hierarchy?

If you have a Premium subscription and "initiative" has been added to the issue hierarchy above Epics, then the only place you will see the nested hierarchy structure under "initiative" is in the Advanced Roadmaps Plan views. The additional hierarchy structure will not be able to display in other views like backlogs, lists, and boards.
