I think it has something to do with the "Approver" field, but I have one issue that shows up on more than one kanban board.
@Frankie Henderson, Welcome to the Community. Boards are simply graphical views of issues in one or more project. What displays on the board is governed by the board's filter. Have a look at the filters for each board (Board settings > General). I suspect you will find an overlap in the filters that results in the issue appearing on both. If it isn't obvious please post your filters or screen shots here.
It seems I don't have admin permissions so I can't see the overlap. The only think I can look at are the various data populating the fields (ie. Type, Components, etc)

you need to be the owner of the board to edit the board settings. Check w/ your system admin or the board owner if needed.
