Why do I get seemingly random labels on new issues?

Whenever I create a new issue for a project, one or more labels get added automatically.  These labels seem to be random but certainly come from a cached list.

Most likely it is from some type of automation or is getting set with a post function in your workflow.

If you look at the history of the issue does it say who is adding the value?

Hi John,

The automation settings contain no rules for "All", "Global" or "Project".  This occurs for both newly created projects and existing ones.

I checked the history of a newly created issue (new project as well) and there is nothing indicating labels changes.  I deleted one of the 2 labels which were mysteriously added and that change is now in the history log.

Sounds like it might be in a post function then. If there is nothing in the history for a field it means that the value was in the field when the card was created.
