Why'd they remove the ticket list count?

Probably just asking this for my own sanity before I log a "new" feature request, but any idea why they removed the X of Y count that used to be displayed in the top right corner when you're cycling through a list of tickets? I always found that super helpful and am constantly disappointed now that it's gone.

Thank you for your question.

There is some change in Jira Cloud navigation. The navigation arrows and “Return to search” link remain active in the UI.

If you prefer the old view, check your Personal Settings → Labs to disable the New Issue View (if still available).

Otherwise, use Dashboard gadgets like Filter Counts or Print list export to see exact issue totals.

Atlassian removed it deliberately and no toggle exists yet, but your feedback can help bring it back! :)

Yeah, I'm aware of the new navigation and have been using it for a while. However, that feature was removed from the old navigation as well.
