I am trying to login into Jira board from morning and it's been around 4 hours now.
Initially I got a request to Verify the email, and I did verify it using the link in the email. After that I tried multiple ways to login.
Tried in Incognito, quitted google chrome completely, terminated session, removed cookies and storage, but it keeps on loading and loading for around 3 minutes and return to this page -
I even tried contacting support by giving reason of Account Login and using the correct site URL, but got this -
I have verified with the team that my account exits and they are able to assign me tickets, But I can't access the Jira board.
Please help this resolve ASAP
Hi @ishant_punyani,
Thanks for reaching out - I understand how frustrating it must be to see this message when you're trying to get into Jira. In any case, I am glad to see your confirmation that the issue got self resolved.
The "It looks like our database is taking a little longer than usual to sync up" screen means your account authentication went through, but the product database hasn't finished syncing your profile yet. This is usually temporary, but here are some steps to resolve it:
Try these first:
Wait a few minutes and refresh the page - the sync typically completes on its own within a short time
Clear your browser cache and cookies for all Atlassian domains, then log in again
Try an incognito/private browsing window - this helps rule out cached session issues
Try a different browser to rule out browser-specific causes
If the issue persists:
5. Ask your organization admin to verify that:
Your account is active and has the correct product access
Your group memberships are correctly assigned
If your account was recently reactivated, your admin can try suspending and restoring your account to trigger a fresh sync
Regarding the issue submitting a ticket. In the future you can take these steps to get help:
Visit this Support portal.
If you can't log in to the portal, select "Unable to log in" from the options provided.
Provide the email address associated with the account you're trying to access.
I hope this helps.
Best,
Anastasiia
Welcome to the Atlassian Community.
Sorry to read that you are having issues logging in and reporting the issue.
From what I can understand, this might be a permissions issue. Therefore, I would suggest you ask your team's Jira Admin to review the following:
- Verify that your user has the correct Jira App role amnd product access. Being visible as an assignee does not necessarily mean that the account currently has access to Jira.
- Browse Space permissions (before known as Browse Project Permission)
Now, a step that I would suggesst you try is:
- try signing in directly through the Atlassian login page and then opening the Jira site, rather than starting from a saved board URL.
In any case, I have requested Atlassian's Support team to review this post, as you are also not able to raise a support request.
I hope my suggestions help or maybe the Atlassian Support team does.
Cheers,
Fede.

Hi @Fede Baronti -Deiser-
I already asked my team to remove and then add me again.
I was having all the permissions as till yesterday it was working fine for me. I faced this today morning only.
But anyways, it got resolved automatically. I left it idle for an hour and checked it and it is working now.
Thanks for your support!
Cheers,
Ishant
