Why can I no longer get into my account

I generated a new API token. Now when I try to log into my cloud Atlassian JIRA account I am getting the message on the login page xxxx'@xxx.xxx doesn't have access to Jira on companyname.atlassian.net.

Hi @Balsley_Kai G ,

Welcome to Atlassian community and thank you for your question.

There isn't any relation between your api token generation and your Atlassian account.

 

I suggest to check with your Atlassian administrator your account permission.

Just a friendly reminder that we're community members here.

We don't manage access at the instance level, that's handled by the companies and owners of the instances. Not even Atlassian can bypass that easy.
