Why automation "Linked design updated" doesn't work?

I'm setting up the automation triggered by "Linked design updated". But what exactly stands behind "design updated"? It does not work now -  when I updated the linked designs, nothing happened.
In my mind "updated" means the linked section or frame is edited. This should trigger the chosen action.

Does anyone face a similar challenge? How does this automation should work?

Hi @Iga Kopiec , I'm struggling with the same problem.

The Jira app seems properly configured and linked with Figma's team.

I did the setup while being admin on both tools.

The automation is enabled but it's never triggered.

Have you found any solution?

Hi

Welcome to the community.

The "Design" triggers only interact with Figma integration.

"Linked design updated" interacts when: "

The rule will run when a design already linked to an issue is updated."

See documentation ton the automation triggers here

Hi @Iga Kopiec and welcome to the Community!

I believe this is related to an integration with Figma and I would assume the trigger would apply if something actually changes to a Figma design that is linked to your issue.

From your question, I cannot figure out if you are using Figma and what you are referring to as design. The trigger itself is not configurable, so from the description I would imagine it can only mean an actual change to the design itself in Figma.

Hope this helps!
