Adding holidays to our working days for board settings and it won't allow me to select one from the calendar. Specifically looking to add Labor Day (US) which is 9/4. From the attached screen shot you see that 9/4 is greyed out and the cursor switches from an arrow to a red-crossed circle. 9/3 and 9/5 both are functional.
Hello @ROD_GILBERT
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
I am not able to recreate your issue. I am able to select the 9/4 date when the month of August is shown.
Have you tried advancing the calendar to show the month of September?
There is no native global non-working days entry that could cause this, per
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-9833
Do you have any third party apps added to your system, for instance for time tracking, where you set non-working days? If so, perhaps that is impacting this calendar.
Hi Trudy.
- It doesn't work even when the calendar is advanced. I looked at other US holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas and they both are normal.
- Good to hear there aren't universal settings. That was what I thought it might be.
- No, we don't have any third party apps that would interfere. While we would like to use something for the resource management piece, there are none currently on our system.
This isn't the only flaky thing I've seen. We move some items to the next sprint, and 2 days later when I checked one had been moved into a placeholder sprint bucket. History couldn't identify when it was moved out.

Both very odd circumstances.
I recommend that you have your Jira Administrators open support cases directly with Atlassian on each of these. And it would be great if you can report back here what you learn.
