While assigning JIRA I want to restrict Assignee Field value to a particular group

On a particular transition, I want to restrict "Assignee" field to be restricted to a group.

I have added property jira.permission.assignable.group = 'Group'

It is not working as expected. Can anyone help me in this?

Try to include this group only to Assignable User permission.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

Can I use Group for user?

for example: assignable.user = Group
