In https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/startup-check-jira-build-version-867185576.html this flag is mentioned. Adding it to bin/setenv.sh has no effect. Which is the proper place? Which is the proper procedure, i.e. adding to the recent version and restarting to become enabled to start with an older version? What are limits, how far can I go back in versions? Why can't this be documented?
