Where can I find more details for each categories for the Apdex metrics?

Hello everyone!

Is there anyone who have more information about each Apdex categories? Outside these two links below that talk about how to monitor/gather the Apdex metrics and that there will be some documentation on that subject one day, I have not found anything else.

Full disclosure: I am using cloud version, not server, and I don't recall hearing of the Apdex standard before seeing your post.  That being noted...

This appears to be a shared performance standard, and there is information on wikipedia and the Apdex users group site explaining terminology.  As Atlassian is implementing this standard, and they still have an open ticket to write their own documentation for it, you could ask your site admin to submit a support ticket to them with your specific questions: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Yes, Apdex metric is a standard established mostly to measure what the user experience is in general when using your web application. I understand well all that part and how it works and how it is calculated.

Atlassian implemented that Apdex metric back in August 2018 as a dark feature. See: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-67621?src=confmacro

You can gather these logs here in $JIRA_HOME/logs/atlassian-jira-apdex.log or you can use ScriptRunner (built-in scripts system) to get them (which I did on my side).

I simply wish to know more in details like I said what exactly each category represent in details and what can cause one category for example to be low in score/performance.

Anyway, thank you for your input, it is really appreciated.
