The goal is to upgrade version 8.2.3 to 8.13.22 so I am viewing this page for steps https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver0813/upgrading-jira-manual-1027137578.html want to confirm if I should use 8.2 or 8.13

@alodge You are using the correct documentation.  You need to use the documentation for the version you are upgrading to so 8.13.  The documentation will walk you through the steps you need to take to have a successful upgrade.  The most important thing is to backup your system in case you need to roll back.  I would also encourage you to create a test site or clone of production to run the upgrade on first.  If you have a VM this is very easy to do.
