I have seen on previous JIRA projects, that when a User Story is 'Done' (all sub-tasks are dragged to Done column and User Story is synced), the Issue ID is not striked through.

I try to figure out if it relates to the Resolution field (and its workflow), but I don't understand what and how I should change the workflow and or the screen(s).

Hi @Alwin Brands

Yes, you are right that it is because of the Resolution field.

If you are using jira simplified workflow and are the board admin, you can automatically set a resolution of 'Done' when issues are transitioned to the 'successful' column. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/using-the-simplified-workflow-938845286.html

If you are not using simplified workflow, you can ask your jira admin to configure the auto set of resolution or bring a transition screen to have user enter a resolution

Hello,

If you want to set the resolution field manually, then you need to create a new screen with a resolution field, then find the required transition, where you need to set the resolution and attach this screen to the transition.

If you want to set the resolution field automatically, then find the transition, where the resolution field must be set, and add the Update Issue Field post function.

To find the transition, you should open your workflow in project settings -> Workflows.
