When setting the resolution to Invalid the system resets it to done and removes the Invalid

We just started using a very simple Workflow out of the box.   When we go to close an issue with a Resolution such as Won't fix or Invalid, the system shows it is taking the value but changes the field to Done as seen here in the history.

We have the appropriate Resolution Page with the field to chose our resolution in our screen as instructed in this documentation online

In the out of the box transitions it does show that the Resolution will be set to Done, see below:

I think this is our problem.  I"m not sure what Value to put when adding a new transition, as the Value Field is freeform.  

Any suggestions on how to configure the transition to set the right Resolution?

Hi Karen,

The image you put shows that the Resolution is overwritten with Done value during the transition. Actually you have "Set a Fixed Resolution" as it's described in the doc you linked. Just remove the "The Resolution of the issue will be set to Done" post-function. Use the same instructions as for the "Set a Fixed Resolution" but do removing instead of adding.
