As the header suggests, when Im opening a ticket in a jira software board it is immediately assigned, there is no automation involved as shown on the automation section of the ticket,
there is no history for the assignment action, the assignment action happens as soon as the ticket is opened,
it's important to note that it only happens when a component field is filled in, if the component field is left empty, the ticket stays unassigned,
also when opening the ticket the assignee field is set to automatic although it used to be unassigned,
any suggestion? did someone come across this behavior?

this allows you to set default assignees based on component.
