When linked task In project 1 is done, change the status for the Project 2 to under DEV

Hello,

I'm using  automation 

When linked issue In project 1 is done, I want to change the status for the Project 2 to under DEV, the status under dev doesn't exist in project 1.

Any idea?

Are you using Automation to accomplish this?

I think in order to transition an issue in a different project you will need to use Global Automation, but it should not matter whether both issues share the same workflow or not. As long as the destination status is available and can be transitioned to.
