When creating a new project the same people are added every time

I have taken over a Jira environment and I am having issues when creating a new classic project. Once a new project is created, the same people are automatically added. 

I am trying figure out where in Jira I can remove these users to not show up every time I create a new project.

Hi Aurelio - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Click on the gear icon and go to Settings > System

Once there, click on Project Roles under Security

Then click on the Manage Default Members for each role that has the same people in it and clear them out.  :-)
