When an issue is blocked, what status should i put it in?

Deleted user February 14, 2019

If the developers have blocked tickets, that are waiting on work from other teams, that are outside of their current project, and they can't create a subtask for someone in another project, it's basically side work that doesn't need an entire separate ticket created, but it creates a minor block, what is the best practice for that? the ticket isn't "in progress" from the current assignee standpoint, and it's not "greened" or in "backlog"

thanks!

Ericka,

I'd suggest done status. Then have the option to reopen the ticket in the case you decide to work on it for whatever reason.

Hello! well the ticket isn't really "done" just waiting on other folks to complete their work
