When a ticket is transitioned to done I want a pop up to appear with fields to be populated

Hey

 

When a ticket is transitioned to done, I would like to have a screen appear that requires additional fields to be completed 

 

I believe this is done through the workflow transition and maybe post functions?

 

Any knowledge on this that you can share would be great

Hi @Sherry Nightingale , assuming you are using a Company Managed project then follow these steps:

  1. create a new screen with the fields you want
  2. go to project settings > workflows
  3. edit your workflow and double click the transition to Done
  4. in the pop up add the name of your new screen
  5. save and publish workflow 
  6. test it out

What you''re looking for are transition screens.

You can define a screen to appear when a transition occurs as seen below.
