When a ticket is raised automate it so a field like “users name” appears in the title of the ticket?

For ease of reading is it possible that when a user is creating a ticket and has to put “name of user” in one of the fields that when the ticket is created the “name of user” appears in the title automatically. The “name of user” also is not always the reporter in most cases. 

Is this possible to do and how. Many thanks.

Hi Adam,

You can't Force a format in the summary however you could create an automation roll that edit the current summary and as things like reporter etc. Using smart values. Here are some documentation on automation that might help. smart-values-in-jira-automation
