When Apply sorting to issues key field in ASC, it doesn't work , sorting always comes in DESC order?

Nit all field supporting sorting.

Issue key field can be use in various places in Jira. Do you have additional info like where are you performing this sorting this action and on what platform(on-prem or cloud)? Do you have screenshots you can share.

For example, in filter/JQL search list view, it should work.
