If you don't mind I will take this opportunity to propose my app - Multi-team Metrics & Retrospectives. 
I developed it because I couldn't run quantifiable retrospectives and track multiple teams over multiple periods in a single view.

Good question

I would say Draw.io for the ability to create simple brainstorming diagrams as well as more complex processes and system diagrams.

It adds so much context to the written text and the diagrams are version handled and embedded directly on the Confluence page which make them easy to update when needed,
