What's the definition of an Epic Please?

Hello - What's the definition of an Epic and a Feature please? do you have any links that describes both? thank you

Hi @Mohamed Ramadan ,

Epics and features are concepts used in the SAFe framework. So a starting point could be a SAFe glossary like this. Essentially, they are both big chunks of work that are further broken down into smaller bits and pieces once you start breaking down a project / program / portfolio into manageable work items.

However, you will soon discover that the definition of these terms will vary based on the context that you are in. So you should most importantly first of all define how you want/should use them at your organisation and then:

• do some research;
• agree within your organisation on what they mean for you
