What is the term of self-hosted JIRA license?

I want to buy JIRA for 10 persons, and I have a server where to host it.

From description I got that I will receive 12 months of support.

But what about license itself? It is one-time payment? Or it is limited by time?

You get a year.  During that time, you get

• The software
• Access to any upgrade released before or during that year
• Access to Atlassian support

When it expires, you lose access to support and upgrades.  But JIRA will continue to work (admins will see a warning that you're not supported, that's the only change in functionality) and you can still upgrade to versions released before the end of the licence.
