I am using JIRA and JIRA trigger plugins in Jenkins to trigger a job in jenkins when a issue status changed in JIRA. Due to GDPR changes implemented by JIRA cloud , JIRA plugins throws error, so automation process is stopped. Can JIRA team enable the feature flag which disables the recent GDPR changes , so i will be getting my jenkins jobs triggered from JIRA. I hope Jenkins team will fix the plugins meanwhile.

Hi Ashok,

I see that your Cloud site-admin created a support request for this over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-555300

It appears that you were included in this case, so you should have access to it.

Not all Cloud feature flags can simply be disabled.  However in this case it was possible to do so for your Cloud site, at least temporarily.  There may come a time when this feature flag must be pushed to the site permanently.

For other users that might find this post or have a similar question, the steps needed to do this typically require someone in the site-admin role of your Atlassian Cloud site to make this request to our support team.  Any Atlassian Cloud site-admin can do this for their site by going to

  • Select Technical issue or Bugs
  • Choose your Cloud site and be sure to enter your Cloud URL here
  • Explain what specific feature flag change is causing a problem

This will make sure that your request can be routed directly to our Cloud support team. Changes of this nature have to have this support ticket created before they could be processed.

If your Cloud site is the Free deployment, following those steps above will route your request here to Community.  This is expected as per our Atlassian Support offerings.  Our Community Support Team will monitor for these requests.

Regards,

Andy
