What is the level of customization that can be done on an on-demand application of Jira

Hi All,

I'm new to Jira, I'm evaluating this application to manage projects for a textile industry.

My ultimate requirement is to automate the due dates of each tasks, the formula to calculate the due date of each task is different and has multiple parameters and is complex.

I do not see any kind of coding involved in the on demand service. Is this possible? If yes, should I opt for on-demand or on-premise. Please suggest me the right version for my requirement.

Cloud version is limited in terms of the customizations possible. You can look at Atlassian Connect for what is possible.

For you requirement, I would be looking at https://developer.atlassian.com/static/connect/docs/modules/jira/workflow-post-function.html

Not sure if it is possible using that module because I haven't tried it before but that is the best you have for Cloud version. For server version, you have plenty of options.
