What is included in the Jira product?

I work at an agency and we have JIRA but I don't see all the products that look to be available under Jira?  I"m told we only have Jira Software but it looks like Jira software is part of the Jira Core group?  

I would really like to talk to some one that can help me advise our IT department that we need them to install the whole package.

Jira comes in three different flavors; Jira Core, Jira Service Desk and Jira Software. If you have Jira Software then you also have Jira Core, JSW just adds on project templates that are geared towards software development teams.
