Are you trying to import from a CSV? And are referring to the option to map the csv columns to Jira fields and map the contents of the columns to specific values in Jira?
Yes, I'm going from v6.3 to v687. Trying to move a project and its issues into the newer version. I have a comma delimited file and have mapped the file but I get errors.

Can you please clarify what you are asking? Do you want a summary of all the JIRA field mappings?
Thanks a bunch!

First be sure to use Chrome when migrating instances. Second if a field can not be mapped (e.g., new status) you can use Import as Blank or "No Mapping". Please note that no mapping will cause a failed import error to populate. In most cases the import will still occur; however, field values may have to be edited once the issue is created.
Considering I am uncertain on which error you received please read documentation regarding cvs imports that may help.
