I am doing research on what happens to Dashboards, reports and created filters when a person on the project either leaves, deletes or renames filters. dashboards and reports. Will they we still functional by other shared team members or do they become inactive?

@Suzette Beaucage

Very good question: best practice never delete a user account if they leave so that you can keep their history.

Everything should remain the same. Ask your JIRA Admin to put an active person to Administer the boards and filters,....

Business should be able to function after someone leaves.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate.

Best,

Fadoua

@Tinker Fadoua if you remove/inactive the user account (sometimes you need it because you have a limited number of licenses) I guess you don't loose the history information. You can make a search by this user and you will see that under assignee field you will get the user name and  then in parenthesis: (Inactive).

@David Leal  an inactive user doesn't count toward licenses for sure. Once the account is disabled not removed you have a license back.
