Hi,
I used to see a list of my favorite filters on the left panel when click on 'Filters' -> 'View all issues', but now it's all gone. Anyone know if there is a change on the interface?
Thanks,
-Christina
Hi @Christina
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Thanks for your question! You’re absolutely right — the Jira interface has undergone some updates recently.
Atlassian is rolling out a new navigation experience progressively across instances, which may be why you’re seeing some changes. In the new layout, favorite filters no longer appear directly in the left sidebar under “Filters” by default.
To access your saved or favorite filters in this updated interface, follow these steps:
Click “Filters” in the left sidebar
Then select “Show all filters” at the bottom of the Filters drop-down menu (first screenshot).
This change is part of Atlassian’s ongoing effort to streamline the user interface and improve consistency across its products. While it may take some time to adapt, the new layout is intended to provide better scalability and user experience in the future.
Please let me know if you need further assistance!
Hi Anthony,
Thank you for the updates. I really like how it was before though. It was very handy while working on different filters for my work which I do daily. The updated version seemed very inconvenience.

I sent a note this morning about this as well since I didn't see this one. I totally agree with Christina. It is really tedious to get to my filters now, which I also use daily. Definitely not a better user experience for me.

This new "navigation experience" for filters is a workflow killer - full stop. Previously, scrolling down in the sidebar to access all of my filters worked great. Now, a separate screen one must additionally page through is a hot mess. This is a "navigation experience" that is truly a step backward and not designed for a power user dealing with over 100 filters on a daily basis.

A compromise would be: Do not load all filters in the sidebar by default, but allow the user to select a button to do so when needed.
