What does the orange triangle with an exclamation point next to a field on a screen mean?

I saw this when I went into config the fields on a new screen.

I figured it out. The fields with the triangle indicate that even though they show up in the configuration for the screen, they are NOT tied to the project. I had to go to each field's context and add the project to it. That made it visible on the screen and eliminated the triangle with exclamation point.

Right @Steve Hooczko , Context defines where (which projects and issue types) a custom field is available and how it behaves (e.g., options for select lists). You can have multiple contexts for a single custom field, each with different configurations for different projects/issue types. If a custom field’s context does not include the project/issue type, it will not appear on the issue screen, even if added to the screen configuration.

Hello @Steve Hooczko

If you hover your mouse pointer over it do you get a message?

Can you provide a full screen image of what you are seeing?

What type of project does this concern? You can get the project type by clicking on the three dots to the right of the project name in the navigation sidebar.
