Help me, am I missing something here? Such a prominent main navigation menu item. They don't seem to do anything of any value at all, and can't be assigned to Projects etc.
I've had a play with this feature in multiple organisations over the last few years and they seem to do absolutely nothing of value.
Am I missing something blindingly obvious for how this feature is used in the system?
Hi @Michael Cropper,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Teams is part of Atlas, that was just announced to be available for everyone today, and as part of Atlassian Together that was also announced today during Atlassian presents Work life.
I'm still none the wiser reading that info and watching that video.
Cutting through the marketing nonsense, what does Teams do in simple terms?
It literally seems to do nothing when I've been testing.

See it as a way of creating your own teams that you can use for @ mentioning instead of @ mentioning individual users. And my guess is that once Atlas and Atlassian Together goes GA it will play a bigger role.

Thanks @Mikael Sandberg that's helpful to know the maturity of the product.
I was expecting a lot more than that, which is why I was confused when it didn't seem to do anything.
