Weekly automated Confluence page creation listing a filter of Jira issues completed

I'm trying to create a list of issues completed each week to form a set of weekly pages of development bulletins. Something like reports of work completed that could be sent as newsletters to clients (the confluence page or a sanitised version of such).

I wondered if I could set up weekly page creation (runs at end of week - maybe Friday night) which lists the completed issues in the week just gone (I have a filter for completed issues already).

You can set up a subscription to your Jira filter which will email you the filter results weekly. This email could be sent on to customers or be the base of a copy-paste report to remove the hyperlinks.

Creating weekly reports in Confluence usually use the Jira filter macro, which gives dynamically updated results when you view the page. Even if you use a Marketplace App to trigger a weekly email, the saved page in Confluence will not match the actual report sent over time.
