I've integrated Gitlab <-> Jira. Everything seems to be fine. But whenever in  MR/PR ticket is mentioned I see comments added to ticket with MR/PR, but I don't see link to MR/PR in the `Weblink` section. Thank you.

Hello @Maksatbek Keldibekov ,

I am not an expert in Gitlab but did a bit of digging on this one for you, and it looks like there are two conditions where the links should be displayed according to the GitLab integration documentation here:

Noting:

  1. Mention a Jira issue ID in GitLab and the Jira issue shows the GitLab issue or merge request.
    1. Yes. A Jira comment with the GitLab issue or MR title links to GitLab. The first mention is also added to the Jira issue under Web links.
  2. Mention a Jira issue ID in a GitLab commit message and the Jira issue shows the commit message.
    1. Yes. The entire commit message is displayed in the Jira issue as a comment and under Web links. Each message links back to the commit in GitLab.

If both of those conditions are met it looks like the web links can be disabled in the gitlab settings according to this thread:

noting the comment:

Found the solution. The creation of the weblink is configured at the GitLab end in the JIRA integration settings.

However, while I did some searching in the GitLab docs I was not able to locate where this setting is located,  I recommend doing a quick check in the settings to see if you can find it, and if not reach out to GitLab support for additional help.

Also if you do locate a full solution, please post the steps here so it can help others out that find this thread, and I hope this info can get you on the right track.

Regards,
Earl
