We use @"Person1", @"Person2",... a lot in Jira task comments for key updates to a project
when specific people "must know" an outcome to decide or proceed. Many people do not "Watch" something unless they are managing it or own it. All good.
Outlook is integrated and @ messages appear as an email with task Identifier and Title.
The issue is, I cannot include myself in an @ task comment and get the email too.
I can add myself but no email shows up. Different formats don't do the trick.
I would like the email update because I can right click and schedule it for work or follow up... and done. It already has the Task Ident and Title added and embeds the comments.
Is this a Jira code thing? Or, is it a parameter someone can un-set?
Is there a resolution to the @"Self" prohibition?
Hello @R Jeff McCullough
Have you checked you Personal Settings to see if you have checked the box to receive email notifications for changes you make?
If that box is unchecked then you will not receive notifications for changes that you make, even if you mention yourself.
Woot!
Thank you! SWEET!
