Hi @Danial Rasti

Assuming this is a Team-managed Project (based on where you posted this), you should be able to do the following...

On one of your Projects...

  • Go to Project Settings > Access
  • Select the button Change project access
  • Make the Project Private

This will limit that Project's visibility. Repeat this process for every other Project - i.e ensuring access is limited rather than them being visible to "all users"

---

You then need to provide users access to these Projects, including the Group who need access to one Board:

  • Go to Project Settings > Access
  • Select the blue Add people button
  • Add Users and/or Groups into the "Names or emails" field
  • Choose the relevant role, and press Add

---

One Project will then be visible to this Group, and the others restricted from view (aside from those who have been granted access to the other Projects).

What If I want to restrict some users to only see Bug Type issues? and no other issue types.
I have tried this with security level and automation to restrict the users but it wasn't successful

Hi @Danial Rasti

Which setting were you using for Security Levels in a Team-managed Project? I don't believe this is an option at present.

If you're using a Company-managed Project though, you could do this...

  • Use an Issue Security Scheme, configured to the specific users who need Bug access
  • Use Automation to modify the Security Scheme associated with an issue at creation - to either...
    • Hide Bugs, if open is the Default
    • Unhide non-Bugs, if restricted is the Default
  • You could also potentially use Automation to re-hide Bugs if the Security Level is modified, as users could unhide them manually. It depends how secure Bugs need to be

If you are using a Company-managed Project and want more specific instructions on how to set this up, let us know :)
