We are getting the email notifications for the stories where I am involved either as a assignee or reporter. Is there an option as a project lead, I can get information about every activity happening on jira project?

  1. Whenever someone creates a story
  2. Whenever someone edits a story or adds comments
  3. Every activity which changes the current state

Hello @kiranmai genkolla

Yes, you can use the project lead in the notification scheme.

So any activity done in that project issues like issue transition commented, assigned, resolved etc...you will also get a notification but make sure you should add the project lead in the appropriate notification events.

most notification configuration is done at the project level under project settings > notifications. You can create a common notification scheme and use across all projects but that isn't common as different projects generally have different needs. Whether you have one scheme or multiple schemes you need to set the notifications for the various events to include a role/group that you and others are in. There is a great deal of documentation on the Atlassian support site and here is one article to start with - configuring-email-notifications
