Watchlist

Hi Dear all,

I am new to the Jira Cloud and could use a little of your expertise on a rather easy topic.

I have started to watch a couple of topics. Now I am looking for a watchlist with all my topics so I can easily retrieve them (sometimes someone wants to have a look at it or I am asked about current status etc.).

I do not always have the exact name associated to the topic and it takes too much time to start searching for them.

Amadeus has a watchlist for the topics I follow- is there anything similar on here?`

I cannot seem to find it.

Is this for Jira or Confluence, given you mention topics?

If you're watching issues and want to find them all, you can find them via an issue search:

1. Go to Filters (top navigation bar) > View all issues
2. Switch to JQL (using the toggle in the upper-right corner)
3. Search for watcher = currentUser()

You could save this search as a filter, and star it for easy access. Or you could add it to a dashboard, and view the results there!

To see all your watches Spaces/Pages:

1. Go to your profile icon (top-right corner) > Settings
2. Select the Watches tab

Hello Stephen,

thanks a lot for your quick and helpful reply. I managed to add the watchlist to my filters- next step would be to add it to my Dashboard. As soon as I can find the time, I will read through the link you have sent me.

It's UI solutions like this that make people complain about Atlassian's designs. 

It's trivially easy to "watch" an issue, yet magnitudes of complexity harder to use this information in a meaningful way.
